We’ve created the Malibu Ride Series of competitons to CONNECT & COMPETE:
CONNECT: Bringing together young riders, families, coaches, and fans who all share a passion for wakeboarding. Building friendships on the dock, learning from each other on the water, and being part of something bigger than yourself.
COMPETE: Represents the drive to grow. It’s about pushing personal limits, stepping up under pressure, and gaining real experience in a fun, supportive environment. Every rider, no matter their level, has a shot to progress, perform, and be seen.
STOP 1: Kicks off at Lake Perseverance, QLD, a venue famous for its calm, protected waters and deep waters to create the ultimate wake conditions for competitors. Riders at every level, from first-time competitors to seasoned pros can take advantage of the big, clean wakes to land stunts, build confidence, and show off their skills.

STOP 2: Heads to Mildura, VIC, where the iconic Murray River provides long stretches of calm water and ideal riding conditions. Riders of all levels from up-and-coming juniors to experienced pros can harness the big, consistent wakes to progress their riding, land new tricks, and keep the competition energy high as the series heats up.

Stop 3: The big one! The final stop of the Malibu Ride Series lands at the 2026 Australian Wakeboard Nationals in Bundalong, VIC. This is one of the most renowned wakeboarding locations in the world. Here, the best junior riders from across the country go head-to-head, sharing the stage with invited international pros who bring next-level skill and inspiration to the water.
This is where the entire series reaches its peak: progression meets performance, and the next generation of wakeboarders gets their moment to shine under the national spotlight. With world-class conditions and the biggest names in the sport, Bundalong is set to deliver a finale like no other.

Achieve the perfect shape wake. The PowerWedge III pulls the back of the boat deeper into the water creating additional displacement and allows you to adjust the shape of the wave while you're driving. Super steep to nice and mellow the choice is yours.
MLS BALLAST
Malibu Launch System. The MLS ballast system is sub floor hard tank ballast + the additional plug & play ballast bags. With a tap in the touch screen you can onboard 2,000kg in ballast in just a few minutes. More ballast equals more displacement & that means a big wake!
